What do you have in mind when somebody mentions a studio photoshoot? Is it a boring posed image of your child in their best clothes on a boring cloudy background?
I’m glad thats not what I imagine!
When Freya and her mum came for their pre-shoot consultation they had no idea what would happen.
My first question is usually ‘what does your child love to do?’ Now this could get me into allsorts of trouble and I probably should caveat it a wee bit. Luckily Freya told me she loves to bake. So that was easy. Well not so much. I’m not a baker! Mr Angel is the person in charge of birthday cakes in our house but a quick scout in the baking cupboard at home for ingredients, a trip to Denelm for a suitable bowl and a whizz on the sewing machine to make a chefs hat and apron and we were ready.
Freya loved being allowed to make a mess with the flour. Who wouldn’t? It’s not every day you are encouraged to make a mess. The studio is easy to clean up so why not have all the floury fun you can have.
We had so much fun – we went to the other end of the studio and made lemonade too.
